The decision regarding the construction of a communal market on the street. Sadova, 2A – Petlyura with the involvement of funds from a private investor was accepted today, February 3, at a meeting of the executive committee of the Lviv City Council.
“This decision relates to the long-standing problematic history of the Lyubinsky Radiance market, which in fact now operates without legal grounds. But we are confidently and consistently moving in the direction of a good result, which will allow us to save jobs and bring the city territory to order.
Even earlier, the city allocated a plot of land nearby, on which a communal market should be built. Entrepreneurs will move there to work, and a high-quality public space should be formed on the vacated square.
Today’s decision involves attracting funds from an investor who himself volunteered and turned to us with a letter of guarantee that he is ready to finance the design and construction of this market, which, I emphasize, will remain in communal ownership,” said Lviv’s Deputy Mayor for Urban Development Lyubomyr Zubach.
