As of 08:00 on 23 June 2026, water levels on rivers in the Lviv region are generally receding, with some minor rises in places associated with local rainfall. This is reported on the basis of data from the hydrometeorological network.
Over the past 24 hours, between 0.0 and 13 mm of rain has fallen locally across the region. On most watercourses, water levels have fallen by 1–5 cm, with rises of 1–6 cm recorded only on certain sections.
Due to local heavy showers, a sharp daily rise in water level of 47 cm has been recorded at the hydrological post on the Tysmenytsia river within the city of Drohobych.
On the section of the Dniester near the settlement of Rozdil, the water level has fallen by a further 2 cm and has dropped below the minimum value for the entire multi-year observation period — 88 cm above the gauge zero.
Water temperature in the region’s rivers ranged between 11.0 and 25.0 °C. The lowest readings were recorded on some mountain tributaries in the Dniester basin.
According to the hydrological forecast, minor rises in water levels are expected over the next 24 hours on some mountain tributaries of the Dniester due to local precipitation. On the rest of the rivers in the Lviv region, a general downward trend in water levels will continue to prevail.
