From February 4th to 7th, the roads of Lviv will be covered with ice, reports the Lviv Regional Center for Hydrometeorology. Due to the expected weather conditions, the city administration urges residents to exercise increased caution. Drivers are advised to reduce speed and maintain an increased distance between vehicles, as well as remember to turn on the headlights even during the day.
Pedestrians are advised to cross streets only at designated areas and to use reflective accessories, such as tapes, stickers, or reflective vests. It is important to wear shoes with non-slip soles to reduce the risk of injuries from falls. In case of emergencies, residents can call the city’s ‘Hotline’ at 15-80.
