On January 30, at 14:39, rescuers received a report of a fire in the village of Zaplatyn, Stryi district, in a wooden house.
When firefighters arrived at the scene, the house was engulfed in flames. There was a threat of fire spreading to neighboring buildings. Before the firefighters arrived, people left the building.
At 15:16 the fire was localized and at 15:49 it was eliminated.
As a result of the fire, a man born in 1974 sustained I-II degree burns to his face and was hospitalized in light condition in Stryi Central District Hospital.

Two units of special equipment and 9 rescuers were involved in the firefighting.
