The second year of the full-scale invasion taught Ukrainians not only to live in new realities, but also to bring victory closer to victory in each place. Thus, Karolina Naumyak, a student of the 2nd grade of Lyceum No. 4 named after Lesya Ukrainka, took part in the International project “My Ukraine – all washed with tears, the whole body in wounds…”. Military personnel who were left without limbs due to military actions were also involved in this project. Karolina Naumyak’s joint touching photo session with one of the wounded Heroes brought victory to the girl in the photo contest. As a result, it gave a positive decision regarding the free prosthetics of soldiers in one of the American clinics.
In addition, with the support of the Ministry of Veterans of Ukraine, all photos from the photo project, especially with the participation of Karolina Naumyak, are posted on the big boards of Drohobych (free of charge) and in other cities of Ukraine, as social advertising and a call not to forget at what price victory is given to us.
The director of Lyceum No. 4 Nataliya Huk also joined the project, who wrote an author’s poem about the sad realities of our Motherland today. The poem is also posted on the bulletin board next to the photos.
As a sign of gratitude for the implementation of the large-scale project and the opportunity to undergo prosthetics in America, the military visited Lyceum No. 4 these days and talked with the children. The students presented the soldiers with their creative works and thanked them for their courage and heroism.
