Medical rehabilitation center “Modrychi” – the first in Lviv region to use the program of compensation of actual costs for arranging the workplace of an employed person with a disability.

The management of the institution tries to create all the conditions for maximum recovery, adaptation, integration into society of people with disabilities. Like no one else, he understands their needs, opportunities, aspirations. Therefore, when they learned about the government program, which provides for reimbursement of costs for workplace equipment in case of employment of a person with a disability, they decided to use it.
A person with a disability of group 1, a social worker by profession, who is confined to a wheelchair due to an injury, was employed.
“However, the challenge of fate hardened him, he not only did not despair, but also charged others with his optimism. The man learned to live in a new way, to overcome circumstances, to overcome peaks, and now he is passing on his experience to others, including returning the drive of life to wounded soldiers in a military hospital,” the rehabilitation center said.
The rehabilitation center purchased a lifting platform specifically for the employee, which allows people with disabilities to be more mobile. This is a kind of elevator, thanks to which a person in a wheelchair can easily climb the stairs.
“The fact that such a professional has joined the team of the rehabilitation center is a big plus for the team. His example shows that under any circumstances it is possible to live, work and benefit others,” the center added.
The Lviv Regional Employment Center reminds that employers are reimbursed for the costs of setting up workplaces for persons with disabilities: Group I – up to UAH 100.5 thousand, Group II – up to UAH 67 thousand.
In order to receive funds, within 90 calendar days from the date of employment of a person with a disability, it is necessary to submit to the divisions of the Lviv Regional Employment Service, in paper or electronic form, an application for compensation and copies of documents confirming her employment and the employer’s purchase of auxiliary means for arranging the workplace.
