The fire claimed the life of a 65-year-old man
On 07 September, rescuers received a report of a fire in the village of Krushelnytsia, Stryi district, in a wooden one-storey residential building.
Rescuers from the 24th State Fire and Rescue Unit of Skole were sent to the scene.
Household items were burning over an area of 6 square metres.
The fire killed the owner, born in 1959.
The Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Lviv Oblast urges citizens to follow fire safety rules:
- do not smoke in bed;
- monitor the condition and serviceability of the power supply;
- Do not leave electrical appliances switched on when leaving the premises;
- Do not leave young children unattended and do not allow them to play with matches;
- try to avoid overloading the power grid, do not switch on high-powered household appliances at the same time.
