Rescuers rescued an elderly man who had fallen into the basement, was injured and needed medical assistance
On 16 July, at 11:05 a.m., the Rescue Service 101 received a report that an old man had fallen into the basement in Lviv on Antonovycha Street and needed help lifting him out.
Rescuers from the 2nd State Fire and Rescue Unit of Lviv arrived at the scene.
As it turned out at the scene, a man born in 1943 fell into the basement of a mansion, 3 metres deep, was injured and needed medical attention. The rescuers went down to the victim in the basement, applied a neck collar and brought him to the surface on a medical stretcher, where he was handed over to doctors. After examination, the doctors hospitalised the man in serious condition at St Luke’s Hospital of the First Territorial Medical Unit in Lviv.
