Yesterday morning, a Mercedes minibus arrived at the Shehyni checkpoint in the Lviv region to enter Ukraine.
The vehicle was driven by a 33-year-old native of Ivano-Frankivsk region.
During the control, the man stated that he was transporting citizens and their personal belongings. However, based on the analysis and risk assessment, the border guards decided to inspect the vehicle in more detail. Subsequently, together with customs officers, border guards found 17 mining systems of various models in the luggage compartment.
Based on this fact, customs officers drew up a report on violation of customs regulations. The cryptocurrency mining devices, the value of which is being established, were temporarily seized.
