One such station was opened in Nemyrov in the premises of the Nemyrov Starostat. It was headed by police captain Karpa Ihor Vasyliovych
Another station now operates in Krakow under the leadership of police captain Hanyk Rostislav Viktorovych. The community police officer is a project of the National Police of Ukraine in cooperation with local self-government bodies, a guarantee of openness and accessibility of services for every resident. After all, a community policeman is a person who knows the area well, knows the people and understands their needs and can respond to appeals 24/7.
At today’s opening, Acting Deputy Chief of the Lviv Oblast Police Roman Turchak handed newly appointed community officers firearms, and Yavoriv City Mayor Ihor Grabovskyi handed the police officers the keys to the official cars purchased with the city budget. Father Roman and Father Yaroslav consecrated the offices of community police officers and their official cars for a good cause, and together with all the guests prayed for peace in Ukraine.
