Today, rescuers received a report that a woman was stuck in the middle of the river in Zhydachiv and was asking for help.
The fire and rescue department of the 16th State Fire and Rescue Unit of Zhydachiv used a boat, a lifebuoy and a rescue rope to bring the woman, born in 1989, to the shore. She did not need medical assistance.
But here’s what’s important to remember. Although today’s incident turned out well and ended without serious consequences, not every day on rivers and lakes is so successful.
Recreation on the water can lead to unforeseen situations, and we must always be prepared for them. Compliance with safety rules, attentiveness and the ability to react in time are better than any action scenes on rivers or lakes.
So remember, safety always comes first!
