A unique cross-border concert of traditional music and carols will be held today, January 7, at 5:00 p.m. in the Polish village of Horayets and the Ukrainian city of Yavoriv. The concert will be broadcast online, so everyone is welcome to watch.
The Folkowisko Association, the Folkowisko Humanitarian Foundation and representatives from Ukraine will organize a unique concert of traditional music and carols. Galicjanki z Roztocza will play in the village of Gorajec (Poland), and in Yavorów at this time there will be a concert of the Ukrainian choir of the Church of St. Yura (Yavoriv).

With this Christmas concert, the organizers want to testify and strengthen Polish-Ukrainian friendship.
“January 7 is the beginning of holidays in Ukraine. For Ukrainians, they will not be joyful, most likely they will experience the holidays in a different way, the possibility of a family meeting at the table and the joy of opening gifts, unfortunately, will not be for everyone. By organizing a concert of Christmas carols, which will be broadcast in Ukraine, we want to show that we remember our friends from Ukraine and are with them in these difficult times,” says Marcin Piotrowski from the Folkowisko Foundation
