According to the LKP “Lvivspetskomuntrans” last year, the company actively worked on two fronts – it performed its main work of removing solid waste, and also helped our defenders.
The company installed 18 new closed sites and concluded 1,500 new contracts for garbage removal. Therefore, in 2022, the company’s garbage trucks removed 35,100,000 tons of waste: 40 tons of organic waste and 160 tons of plastic.
“In 2022, we have increased customers. In total, we currently serve more than 160,000 people. It is in Lviv, Lviv community and region.
And also, in particular, over the last year:
concluded a contract with almost 1,500 new clients;
18 new playgrounds were installed, all of them of the closed type;
our garbage trucks removed more than 35,100 tons of solid waste;
we exported more than 40 tons of organic matter;
as well as about 160 tons of plastic,” Lvivspetskomuntrans LKP says.
The company has also introduced a number of initiatives to support those who defend our country and ensure peace in our homes.
In particular, they organized:
collection of firewood for checkpoints;
separate containers have been placed and tin containers are being collected. We have established cooperation with volunteers who make trench candles from cans for our soldiers;
collected plastic caps for the manufacture of prostheses for defenders injured in the war;
joined the collection of clothes for internally displaced persons and for our Heroes on the front lines.
“In December, we also restored a much-needed service for the citizens – we started accepting construction waste, old furniture and faulty household appliances again.
We hope that this will help to avoid the cluttering of garbage sites and containers with such waste,” added the LKP “Lvivspetskomuntrans”.

Waste is accepted only from individuals, residents of Lviv and Lviv TG. No more than:
– 500 kg of construction waste from one person. (Construction waste must be clean, without impurities, flammable materials).
– 5 units of small and 2 units of large household appliances.
– 1 unit of oversized waste (bed, sofa, large chair).
Working hours: from Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. During an air alert, waste collection will not take place.
