Today, February 3, at a meeting of the executive committee of the LMR, a decision was made, which provides for the attraction of funds from private investors for the construction of a comprehensive school and a preschool educational institution in the Pid Goloskom microdistrict. Both establishments will be communal.
“The construction of a school in the Pid Goloskom neighborhood is an important social project. It consists of two parts, because there must be both a school and a kindergarten on the allocated plot of land. An architectural competition was previously held for this construction, which has its winner – a design contract was concluded with him. Today’s decision provides for the involvement of private funds for the construction of this school. We were contacted by two private companies, which certify with their letter of guarantee that they are ready to finance the works. In return, the city must fulfill its obligations to pay for the construction of the project. I think that this is actually a very good example of cooperation between the city and the business, which will give a good result for this microdistrict”, – said the Deputy Mayor of Lviv for Urban Development Lyubomyr Zubach.
Therefore, the city will enter into a tripartite agreement with Resident Development LLC and Golosko Park LLC for the financing and implementation of works related to the construction of a school and a preschool educational institution with the arrangement of a park on the territory of the Pid Golosko residential area. We will remind, according to the information of the city planning department, the newly built school will accommodate 18 classes (450 students), the preschool is designed for 70 places.
Also, a large kindergarten for 350 children has already been built in this microdistrict with the efforts and funds of another developer, the Nova Oselya company. It has been working for a year and a half.
