Employees of Caritas Ukraine together with the city’s utilities carried out the improvement of a number of areas on Vyacheslav Chornovil Street.
The idea to clean up the adjacent areas to Vyacheslav Chornovil Street originated with the administration of the Caritas Charitable Foundation. This is because the charity’s building is located in this location. However, there are several plots bordering the Caritas charity that are abandoned and not always tended to by janitors.
Having enlisted the support of the communal services of SMU, Caritas employees organised a clean-up day. In a few hours, they managed to collect a lot of household and industrial waste, bottles and other waste.
Then, for two days, SMU utilities have been removing the collected household and technical waste from the territory of the clean-up.
Such events demonstrate that joint efforts can improve the hometown and keep it clean.
In addition, Drohobych systematically organises clean-ups and clean-ups in the city’s parks and squares, which involve local government employees, all conscious residents, as well as entrepreneurs and IDPs.
