The first medical association of Lviv, on behalf of the Lviv community, will participate in the auction for the purchase of the premises of the Vlasta hotel. Today, at the session of the city council, the deputies supported the purchase of the hotel. 47 deputies voted for the relevant resolution.
It should be noted that they want to buy the hotel premises, renovate them and temporarily house patients who need long-term treatment here.
As the general director of the First Medical Association Oleg Samchuk emphasizes, the First TMO, which is three hospitals, became the main medical facility in the rear during the war.
“Last year, we treated half a million Ukrainians, 11,000 wounded, 80,000 displaced people. We treat both children and adults. Both military and civilian. We treat our Ukrainians in Ukraine.
Thousands of patients are already calling us asking for help in rehabilitation and prosthetics. We can help them, but we have a big problem – they have nowhere to live. And the rehabilitation of people can last for months.
But we have found a way out of this situation – we want to buy the premises of the Vlasta Hotel and temporarily house patients here,” said Oleg Samchuk, General Director of the First Medical Association.
The auction for the sale of the premises of the Vlasta hotel is scheduled for tomorrow, January 23.
We will remind you that First TMO together with the Lviv City Council are ready to buy the premises at the starting price – 7 million hryvnias, and to pay off all the company’s debts, which is another 8 million hryvnias, to repair it and temporarily house patients who need long-term treatment here. It is a 12-story hotel building with a total area of 8,174.7 square meters. The hotel is located 1.7 km from the city center.
