LKP “Lvivspetskomuntrans” reminds that the company has installed tanks for organics at all its sites. Thus, residents are asked to dispose of organic waste in designated containers, and not in containers with mixed waste.
“Unfortunately, very often organics end up in containers for general waste. The consequences of such actions, at a high air temperature, are very soon apparent – the containers become dirty, an unpleasant smell appears and there are many flies. Therefore, we emphasize that sorting waste is very important! Organic waste can only be placed in containers for organics,” Lvivspetskomuntrans said.
Thus, “Lvivspetskomuntrans” has installed tanks for organics at all sites it serves. In general, today, 99% of Lviv residents have the opportunity to sort organics. Containers for organic waste are available at almost every landfill site (99% coverage).
Therefore, the residents of the Lviv community are reminded that in a container for organics, without admixtures of other garbage and without plastic bags, the following should be thrown away:
– leftovers from vegetables and fruits;
– husks of nuts, onions, sunflower seeds, egg shells;
– peel from potatoes, carrots, beets, etc.;
– stones from plums, cherries, cherries, peaches, apricots, etc.;
– tea brewing, coffee grounds;
– rotten vegetables and fruits;
– withered leaves and flowers of indoor plants;
– mowed grass.
“Such waste, according to the schedule, is picked up by a special vehicle. Takes them to the composting station. Organic garbage does not have time to decompose, so the cleanliness of the sites is maintained,” Lvivspetskomuntrans LKP emphasizes.
