Oleksandra Sladkova, head of the city’s ecology and natural resources department, spoke about the improvement of the territory around the “Green Eye” lakes. According to her, in the spring, the paths near the lake will be restored, a safe approach to the spring will be arranged, and new benches and trash cans will be installed.
“The path near the lake will be restored so that it never gets blocked again. A temporary option, to make it more comfortable to pass, will be done by the contractor of the lake cleaning works at his own expense, as soon as it is possible – the ground should freeze so as not to destroy the lawn.
The beautification of the shores of the lake will be restored by planting grass and turfing. If necessary, the slopes of the banks to the lake are adjusted. There will also be a safe approach to the spring with steps. In the spring, we will install new benches and trash cans,” said Oleksandra Sladkova.
