Shevchenko Street in Lviv is planned to be fully opened for the spring period

The director of the department also noted that due to the martial law, the procedure for financing street reconstruction works has become significantly more complicated, that is, there are restrictions stipulated by the legislation for the period of martial law. First of all, it is necessary to obtain a number of approvals from the regional city administration and other specialized services, to prove the necessity of carrying out these works during the wartime period.

“Proposals on the formation of the city’s development budget are now being actively submitted. Decisions regarding the start of work on certain objects will be made based on the funding that will be received in 2023,” Oleg Zabarylo noted.

According to Mykola Vlasyuk, under favorable weather conditions, it is planned to open the road through the section from the street in 16 working days. Yatskov to St. Bortnyanskyi (so far without the possibility of turning onto Yatskova St.).

As of January 2, the subcontractor has started laying paving stones on this section, as well as paving the turn from the street with cobblestones. Shevchenko on St. Bortnyanskyi. In addition, in the near future it is also planned to open the section from St. Yaroslav Mudry to residential complexes “Riel” and “Semytsvit”, i.e. the section from building #11 to building #17, str. Shevchenko, where the bottom layer of asphalt was laid.

In 2022, in addition to the reconstruction of St. Shevchenko also completed the reconstruction of Pylypa Orlyk Street and opened it for traffic. And now works are actively being carried out on S. Bandera Street – reconstruction of the retaining wall and arrangement of the transport hub at the intersection of S. Bandera – Chuprinka.

“If the weather is good, we will finish the main works in January. And yes, all work should be completed by the end of spring. The main thing is that there should be weather and a peaceful sky”, – summed up the director of LKP “Lvivavtodor” Mykola Vlasiuk.
