Construction of a new facility for relocating the “Lyubinske Syaivo” market to Sadova Street in Lviv is nearing completion. This was announced by Lubomyr Zubach, Deputy Mayor of Lviv for Urban Development, during an on-site meeting at the construction site.
“This is how trade should look in a European city. I believe the new 750 sq. m building for the ‘Lyubinske Syaivo’ market will serve as a model not only for Lviv but also for all of Ukraine,” said Lubomyr Zubach.
The project is in its final stages. Window installation has begun and will take a few weeks. Simultaneously, facade work and interior finishing in the administrative area are underway. Communication systems are being installed, and the final stage will involve flooring.
The city’s Department of Architecture and Spatial Development is working on the design of market stalls. They will feature a unified, modern, and high-quality style.
Background:
The first municipal market, “Lyubinske Syaivo,” is being constructed at the intersection of Sadova and Petlyury Streets with funding from the investor – Globus company. The old market location will be transformed into a modern public space, also funded by the investor.
