During the war, more than 20,000 Ukrainians received medical care in Lviv

Countries who were forced to move from their hometowns to Lviv due to the war receive shelter and assistance here, including medical care. During this time, more than 20,000 Ukrainians have already received treatment and consultations.

“We work hard to provide medical care to displaced people. This includes both emergency care and prevention, including routine vaccination of children. This is help for children, women and mothers, help for all those who need it, “said Lesia Kobetska, head of the Lviv City Council’s health department.

Thus, during the war 1,099 forcibly displaced Ukrainians were hospitalized in Lviv hospitals (currently 293 people are being treated, others have already been discharged). 12,538 Ukrainians applied to outpatient clinics for outpatient care, of which 1,448 were children and 705 were pregnant women (more than 200 of them have already given birth in the city’s maternity hospitals). Mobile teams at the checkpoints and temporary stays provided assistance to 7,552 people, 194 of them – in the last day.

Also in city clinics, children receive routine preventive vaccinations against infectious diseases. To do this, contact the nearest clinic.
