Construction of the new children’s hospital “Nadiya” intended for youngsters affected by the war will commence at 6, Dzh. Vashington Street in Lviv. The building will have four floors with 31 wards and 62 beds, along with an underground shelter.
The primary aim is to create an environment where patients feel comfortable. The architectural solution was developed by Finnish experts from JKMM and the local company DELTA, who created the “village inside a building” concept. There will be gardens, play areas, and spaces for recovery.
Lviv architect Anton Kolomeytsev emphasised the social importance of the project. The hospital will provide children and their families with suitable conditions during treatment. The project also includes the establishment of a research institute focused on children’s mental health.
