Recently, Ivano-Frankivsk hosted the Ukrainian Athletics Championship among boys and girls born in 2009-2010. The competition brought together athletes from different regions of Ukraine.
Among them was an athlete from the Lviv region who won the competition.
Khrystyna Ivaskevych won gold in the long jump with a result of 5 metres 59 centimetres. The girl set her own record and was first in the ranking of the Lviv region team. She also took third place in the relay race.
Khrystyna studies at Ivan Franko Lyceum No. 1. Her coach is Halyna Kondratska.
