Sergeant of the 80th received the “Cross of Military Merit” from the President of Ukraine
Vladyslav Borshchuk, the chief sergeant of one of the airborne assault companies of the 80th separate airborne assault brigade of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, received the award personally from President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The defender defended Ukraine during the ATO/JFO. With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he continued to participate in battles where he was wounded, but returned and continues to destroy the occupiers.
In addition to Vladyslav, another soldier from the 80th Brigade received the Order of the Golden Star of the Hero of Ukraine (posthumously) together with his mother.
This award was presented to his brother, Senior Sergeant Ivan Pavlyshyn, who was killed in action. The warrior defended Ukraine as part of the 24th King Danylo Brigade.
He was killed in the Bakhmut direction.
He was a scout, a senior sergeant.
