Shelter social project in Ukraine
In order to unite joint efforts in providing our citizens with safe shelter, the social project “Shelter” is being implemented under the patronage of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky. This is a project to accommodate Ukrainians who are forced to move out of combat zones.
Hundreds of thousands of our citizens are forced to flee their homes to escape Russian bombs and missiles. The project aims to encourage Ukrainians to share their housing and comfort and to shelter all internally displaced citizens who have been affected by the Putin regime in Ukraine.
Homeowners who will help Ukrainians with accommodation for free will be able to receive compensation from the state in the amount of about UAH 450 per month for each person admitted, regardless of age, to reimburse the cost of utilities.
In order to offer your accommodation to internally displaced persons and receive compensation, you must:
submit an application to the local self-government body at the place of residence or through the website prykhystok.gov.ua about the readiness to accept migrants;
when settling migrants, submit an appropriate application to the local self-government;
by the 5th day of each month to inform the local self-government about the number of days and the number of displaced persons who lived in them;
get compensation.
We call on Ukrainians living in safer regions of the country to unite and support each other. Our strength is in Unity!
Together to victory!
