On April 28, on Flower Sunday, Bishop Taras Senkiv, Eparchy of Stryi, presided over the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy in the Assumption Cathedral in the city of Stryi. After the service, the president of the International Charitable Foundation “Health of the Ukrainian People” Serhiy Soshynskyi expressed his gratitude to Bishop Taras and all the faithful of the Stryi Diocese for participating in the “Save a Limb” program, which the parish joined in January of this year, collecting 2,130,105 hryvnias.

“I am very grateful to you, and I want to say that your efforts have already helped to save 50 limbs – 50 of our defenders are left with the limbs that God gave them. Your contribution is incredible. Thank you very much,” said Mr. Serhiy.
Bishop Taras thanked Serhiy Soshynskyi and all the employees of the foundation for their work.
At the end of the Liturgy, Bishop Taras traditionally blessed the branches and sprinkled the faithful with holy water.
