It is planned to provide approximately UAH 703 million for 20 potential sub-grants (the amount of each sub-grant can range from UAH 10 million to UAH 100 million).
The USAID Program for Agrarian and Rural Development (AGRO) provides sub-grants to Ukrainian non-state private legal entities/companies to restore and develop the export potential of processing enterprises of grain, oil and leguminous crops, expand channels and markets for the sale of finished products, processing and increase sales volumes on foreign markets.
This is reported in the department of agro-industrial development of Lviv OVA with reference to the company “Kimonix International”.
Requirements for applicants:
must be officially registered Ukrainian private enterprises/companies that
have export-oriented development strategies and are permanent exporters;
have 5 years of experience in the grain, oil and leguminous processing sector or related activities;
not less than 30% of own contribution from the total budget of the project.
Activities within the scope of the sub-grant must ensure the following results:
Increase in the volume of procurement and processing of raw materials by 25%.
At least 50 MSME-partners of raw material suppliers should get reliable systemic and long-term sales channels at competitive prices.
Create at least 5 new export channels and sales markets for finished processing products, increase sales by at least 20%.
Deadlines for the sub-grant:
by December 12, 2023, register for the seminar that precedes the submission of applications for sub-grant (registration address agro.subawards@chemonics.com)
from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on December 14, 2023 – a seminar that precedes the submission of applications for receiving a sub-grant;
by 6:00 p.m., December 21, 2023, send all questions regarding participation in the competition (to Nela Laiko, manager of the subgrants and contracts department, to the e-mail address nlaiko@chemonics.com with a reference to РПЗ-08);
by 18:00, January 7, 2024, Kyiv time, submit applications for the 1st stage
