This year, territorial communities of the region allocated UAH 3.8 million of budget funds to support farmers – by 36% more compared to last year.
Support programs for agricultural producers for 2024 were approved in 10 communities of Lviv region, but funds for their implementation were allocated in 9 territorial communities.
7 territorial communities of Stryi and Lviv districts are more actively supporting their producers. In particular:
Stryka territorial community allocated UAH 290,000 to support family farms and cooperatives;
Rozvadivska – UAH 60,000 for the payment of a subsidy to private peasant farms that keep 4 or more dairy cows of productivity
Novorozdilska – UAH 20,000 for a partial reduction in the cost of artificial insemination of cows and heifers kept in individual households.
Kamianka-Buzka – UAH 100,000. to reimburse individuals for the costs of keeping 3 or more dairy productivity cows.
Kulikivska – UAH 400,000 to support newly established family farms and reimburse expenses for the purchase of fodder crop seeds.
Zhovkivska – UAH 650,000 for the support and development of family farming, the beekeeping industry, the production of organic products and OSH, which keep young cattle.
Also supporting the development of their family farms and cooperatives is the Radekhiv Territorial Community of Chervonohrad District, which allocated UAH 500,000 for their support.
“The strategic decision to support local farmers will have a multiplier economic and social effect for communities in the form of increased tax revenues and the creation of additional jobs. We invite all communities of Lviv region to join this definitely positive trend in the development of the local agricultural sector,” said Tetyana Hetman, director of the Department of Agro-Industrial Development of OVA.
