Anna Maksymenko Set a New Record in Fencing
17-year-old athlete from Lviv region, Anna Maksymenko, is making history! She became the youngest Ukrainian fencer to win an adult Grand Prix. Among three hundred and ten participants from forty-eight countries, Anna was the strongest.
Previous Records
Previously, the age record belonged to saber fencer Olha Kharlan. Earlier, it was held by Lviv native and épée fencer Yana Shemyakina.
