Yuliia Korostylova (NSS LNS / AFU / SHVSM, coached by Serhii Korostylov and Volodymyr Mykhailov) became the European champion in the pistol event. The athlete competed in a team duet with Maksym Horodynets from Poltava region.
Anastasiia Nimets and Volodymyr Pasternak (Dynamo/SVSM, coached by Roman Bondaruk) became silver medallists in this discipline.
“We would like to remind you that the European Championships are taking place in Croatia. The day before, Volodymyr Pasternak, Pavlo Korostylov from Lviv Oblast and Maksym Horodynets won silver in the men’s rapid-fire pistol team event. Pasternak also took second place in the team in the 25m pistol event,” says Roman Khimyak, head of the Youth and Sports Department of the Lviv Regional State Administration.
