Volodymyr, 75, from Chervonohrad, Lviv region, hit the Loto-Zabava jackpot of 1,000,000 UAH. He paid only 30 UAH for the lottery ticket.

The winner said that he has been participating in Loto-Zabava since the first draws. Over the years of participating in the lottery, he received other, smaller winnings, the largest of which amounted to 4000 UAH. But he always dreamed of winning the jackpot and never lost hope that his dream would come true.
Interestingly, Mr. Volodymyr didn’t realize he became a lottery millionaire at first. He thought he won 47,500 UAH. When his daughter called the hotline of the state lottery operator M.S.L. to verify the winnings and find out how to claim them, she received amazing news – her father’s prize was UAH 1,000,000. Mr. Volodymyr says that she turned white and started stuttering with unexpected joy. He reacted to the win more calmly.
According to Volodymyr, he decided to share his winnings with his 10 children and 12 grandchildren, and he plans to give gifts to his great-grandchildren as well. By the way, his relatives were skeptical about lotteries, but he told them: “I am me, don’t tell me what to do!”
Mr. Volodymyr became the first millionaire of Loto-Zabava in 2024 and the 432nd in the history of the lottery. By the way, this is the fifth time in a row that the jackpot has been hit during Loto-Zabava promotions. Currently, the Spring campaign “Spring in the Heart, Money in the Hands” is ongoing, with additional prizes being drawn.
