The Department of Social Protection of the City of Lviv appeals to all citizens to understand the limited human and other resources that are used to help Ukrainians who have been forced to leave their homes due to hostilities. After all, social services are now receiving appeals from citizens asking for social or humanitarian assistance, but in response to such challenges, they have repeatedly revealed the lack of a voiced need.
“In this tense time for all of us, we would like to inform you that the relevant structures of the Lviv City Council, social services, volunteers, religious communities and public circles are actively working to help citizens who have been forced to flee their homes due to hostilities and are in dire need of our support.
However, we are now receiving appeals from citizens who are residents of our city with requests for social and humanitarian assistance. Responding to such challenges, social services have repeatedly revealed the lack of voiced needs, which indicates the fact of abuse at this difficult time.
