In the rehabilitation center in Horodok, new Olympic fields for military training have appeared

They were purchased within the framework of the regional project “League of the Invincibles”

Five Olympic bows were purchased for military personnel undergoing rehabilitation and treatment in one of the rehabilitation centers in the Lviv Region. Thanks to the new sports equipment, the soldiers will be able to go to training in Horodok, where they will be taught archery by an international class master of sports, a member of the Paralympic team of Ukraine, and coach of the Halychyna State University of Sport and Recreation, Ivan Dzyadyk.

On the subject: Weekly archery training for military and veterans was started in Horodok.

Until now, they only had two bows for training, and they were already failing. Meanwhile, the demand for rehabilitation in this sport is growing. The new equipment will allow more veterans to be more effectively involved in training.

“Archery is an activity that largely launched the serious development of adaptive sports in Europe after the Second World War. This is a sport that is available to almost everyone – some shoot with their hands, some with their feet, and some with their teeth. And that is why we put a special bet on him in our “League of the Invincibles” project,” says Roman Khimyak, head of the youth and sports department of the Lviv Regional Military Administration.
