Lviv district: firefighters saved the Renault Scenic car from complete destruction by fire
On July 18, at 12:43, the Rescue Service “101” received a report about a fire in the city of Zhovkva on the street. Vokzalna, Lviv district. The fire started in the Renault Scenic car.
The rescuers of the 17th state fire and rescue unit of the city of Zhovkva went to the scene. As it turned out at the scene, the driver of the car saw smoke coming out from under the hood while driving. The man immediately stopped, called the “Rescue Service” and tried to eliminate the fire himself with a fire extinguisher, but he did not succeed.
At 12:53, firefighters localized the fire and extinguished it at 12:55.
As a result of the fire, the fire damaged the engine compartment on the area of 1.5 sq.m., the hood on the area of 2 sq.m., the headlights on the area of 1 sq.m., the left and right wings on the area of 1 sq.m. Thanks to the prompt and coordinated actions of the firefighters, it was possible to save the car from being completely destroyed by fire.
1 unit of special equipment and 4 personnel were involved in the liquidation of the consequences of the traffic accident.
