“How good it is that such people as Ukrainian politician Stepan Davymuk have brought up a decent tomorrow for themselves and the community. Because in order to have good managers, good figures of culture and art in other fields, you have to put in a lot of effort, you have to work. Only work and God’s blessing will allow to create and sow good.

May the Lord give you strength and inspiration to create. I wish that each of us would have the inspiration to create for our country, for the next generations, so that they feel the dignity of carrying Ukrainianness in themselves. May our victory be as soon as possible! Speaking, in particular, about the cultural front, we see that non-humans are destroying Ukraine, so we have to preserve, rebuild and restore everything as much as possible,” said Ivan Sobko, deputy head of Lviv OVA.

All works are made in different genres: painting, graphics, sculpture. The largest part of the exposition of the exhibition is dedicated to the artistic development of the Lviv region: from the end of the 19th century to the present day.

The construction of the exhibition is chronological. In this way, the viewer can trace the dynamics and changes in the formation of artistic techniques of the Lviv school of art.

“I am happy that there are so many artists among my friends who helped me to form a collection. In fact, my passion for collecting appeared in my childhood. At first it was stamps, some non-precious things, and then – paintings. Today, I would like every viewer to enjoy the exhibition,” said Stepan Davymuka, a collector and initiator of the exhibition.
