“Let’s preserve Ukrainian traditions” under this slogan during the last week in the villages and towns of Yavoriv district spring festivities took place. People of all ages, adults, children danced, sang, had fun, to forget for a moment about the disturbing news.
Also, people who were forced to leave their homes due to hostilities took an active part in the parties. Locals acquainted them with the ancient Easter traditions of the Yavoriv region.
“In difficult times, we are once again convinced that without a return to folk sources it is impossible to raise a real Ukrainian. After all, the memory of the past is the way to a new, happy future,” said residents of Yavoriv region.
It should be noted that spring parties are songs that cheer people up, bring beauty and optimism to their souls and are a precious treasure of the early culture of our great-grandparents, and joint parties near the church have always been a symbol of unity and understanding.
