The perpetrator illegally registered the right of private ownership of one of the unfinished buildings.
As the investigators of the Police Department No. 2 of the Lviv District Police Department No. 1 together with the employees of the Office for Countering Cybercrimes in the Lviv Region established, a 31-year-old resident of the Lviv District, the state registrar of one of the “Administrative Services Provision Centers”, unauthorizedly changed information in the automated system of the State Register of Property rights to immovable property and registered a private ownership right to an object of unfinished construction located on a plot of communal property.
Investigators of the territorial division of the police, under the procedural guidance of the Zhovkiv district prosecutor’s office, informed the state registrar of the suspicion of committing a criminal offense provided for in part 1 of article 362 (Unauthorized actions with information processed in electronic computing machines (computers), automated systems, computer networks or stored on the media of such information, committed by a person who has the right to access it). The sanction of the article provides for punishment – a fine of two thousand to four thousand non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens or correctional work for a period of up to two years.
The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
