A road incident that left two people injured occurred in the village of Verkhivtsi in the Lviv region on February 9 around 5:00 PM. A 23-year-old female driver of a Hyundai Terracan SUV failed to control her vehicle, went off the road, and crashed into a fence, causing the vehicle to overturn.
Both victims, the driver and her 48-year-old passenger from Sambir, sustained injuries and were hospitalized. In response to the incident, the Sambir District Police Department initiated a criminal investigation for violating traffic rules, which could lead to imprisonment for up to three years and a suspension of driving privileges for a similar period.
Currently, the police are investigating the circumstances of the traffic accident.
