Prosecutors of the Pustomyty District Prosecutor’s Office ensured participation in the consideration of a case on an administrative offense related to corruption.
According to the court decision, a former police officer was found guilty of violating the requirements of financial control (Part 1 of Art. 172-6 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).
The prosecutors proved that the law enforcement officer failed to file a declaration of a person authorized to perform the functions of the state or local self-government for the period not covered by previously submitted declarations (upon dismissal) without good reason.
Thus, the court found the man guilty and imposed a fine in the amount of one hundred tax-free minimum incomes.
In accordance with the requirements of Art. 289 of the Code of Administrative Offenses, an appeal against a decision on an administrative offense may be filed within ten days from the date of the decision.
