In Lviv Oblast, law enforcement officers blocked the channel of illegal transportation of conscripts abroad
A 29-year-old man from Lviv, who organized the illegal crossing of the border for men of conscription age, was exposed by operatives of the Migration Police Department, investigators of the Department of Investigation of Crimes in the Field of Economic and Service Activities of the Lviv Oblast Police, together with servicemen of the Western Regional Department of the State Border Service of Ukraine, under the procedural guidance of the Lviv Oblast regional prosecutor’s office.
It was established that the suspect illegally entered the data of men conscripted into one of the information systems, which gave them the right to leave Ukraine under martial law.
During the authorized search of the perpetrator’s place of residence, computer equipment and other material evidence was discovered and seized, confirming his involvement in the organization of illegal transportation of persons across the border of Ukraine.
The investigators informed the intruder about the suspicion of committing a criminal offense provided for in Part 2 of Article 332 (Illegal transportation of persons across the state border of Ukraine) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for punishment – from five to seven years with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for a period of up to three years.
