At the request of the investigator, approved by the prosecutor of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, the corporate rights and property of the company, whose beneficiaries are the brothers of two sanctioned ex-MPs, were seized and transferred to the ARMA.
This is an integral property complex, which includes three land plots, three non-residential premises, four cars, six special vehicles, a brick production line (workshop) and other property.
The estimated value of these assets is over UAH 200 million.
According to the investigation, a brick-making company owned by brothers of former MPs in Lviv region evaded taxes.
For this purpose, the financial and reporting documents reflected inaccurate information about the volume of manufactured and sold products, which was in fact many times higher than officially documented.
As a result, the state budget did not receive more than UAH 75 million in taxes.
The men were served a notice of suspicion of tax evasion (Part 3 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by the SBI in Lviv, with operational support provided by the SBU Office in Lviv region.
