Among those involved are a teacher of an educational institution, two military personnel and a local resident. For a certain fee, men of draft age were helped to get into the information system and cross the border without hindrance. The court sent the participants of the “scheme” to custody.
Police officers continue to neutralize “schemes” by which men of draft age illegally leave the country or receive legal grounds for leaving for a monetary reward. The members of the group, who helped with “tickets” to Europe, were exposed by the operatives of the strategic investigations department in Lviv region and the investigators of the investigative department of the regional police. Among them are a teacher from one of the local universities, military personnel and a local resident.
For $4,500, they guaranteed that information about the “client” would enter the information base. Such manipulations made it possible to cross the border without hindrance.
On November 23, the four involved were notified of suspicion under Part 3 of Art. 332 (Illegal transportation of persons across the state border of Ukraine) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. For all suspects, the court chose preventive measures in the form of detention with the right to post bail.
