The Department of Transport and Communications of Lviv Regional State Administration organized an unscheduled inspection of vehicles of the carrier PJSC “Lvivske ATP-14630” during the release of buses to the line.
The reason was the incident that happened on December 26. Then the employees of the patrol police department in the Lviv region found signs of drug intoxication in the driver of the public suburban bus route. The driver was driving a bus connecting Lviv-Medenichi.
As part of a joint raid inspection, the patrol police department in the Lviv region drew up more than 15 administrative protocols for violations of transport legislation by the carrier PJSC Lvivske ATP-14630.
“Drivers of transport enterprises are obliged to undergo a daily examination by a doctor before leaving the enterprise, and the bus is checked by a mechanic before leaving, which is recorded in the logbook of the release of vehicles to the line,” says Stepan Rudnytskyi, head of LOVA’s transport and communications department.
It should be noted that such raid inspections are carried out systematically in the region.
