Yesterday afternoon, the crew of the 1st Battalion received a call about a robbery in the town of Vynnyky.
According to the applicant, two men had just robbed the third, taking his phone and watch and inflicting bodily harm.
After receiving the description of the attackers, the patrol policemen began to inspect the area and found two similar individuals. They tried to run away, but the police caught up with them and detained them. They were carrying the victim’s watch and phone.
The suspected attackers were 26- and 31-year-old men previously convicted of serious crimes. The police called an investigative team to the scene.
The men were detained in accordance with Article 208 (Detention by an authorised person) of the CPC of Ukraine. They face liability under Part 4 of Art. 186 (Robbery committed under martial law) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
