Between January and June 2024, 285 road accidents involving pedestrians occurred in the Lviv region.
In these accidents, 268 people were injured and 31 people sustained life-threatening injuries.
☝🏻Наїзд pedestrian accidents continue to be the type of accident that injures and kills the most people. Here are some tips:
👩🏻🤝👨🏼 pedestrians: cross the road only in designated crosswalks, do not step out or suddenly run out into the road without making sure there is no danger, and be visible in the dark;
🚘 drivers: please slow down when approaching a pedestrian crossing and give way to pedestrians.
