The Economic Court satisfied the claim of the Yavoriv District Prosecutor’s Office against the business entity for the termination of the lease agreement and the return of non-residential premises to communal ownership and debt recovery.
The prosecutors established that the defendant entered into a lease agreement with the Novoyavoriv City Council for non-residential premises with an area of almost 252 square meters. Under the terms of the contract, they were to be used as office premises. The estimated cost of the latter is about UAH 11 million.
However, for a long time, the company avoided fulfilling its obligations under the contract, namely, it did not pay rent for the use of communal premises.
By its decision, the court obliged the defendant to return the leased objects, as well as to pay UAH 422,000 in debt to the city budget.
This decision can be challenged in the appeal procedure.
