Under the procedural leadership of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, the woman was exposed and notified of suspicion based on the fact of acquittal, recognition as lawful, denial of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine (Part 2, 3 of Article 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, a resident of Donetsk region evacuated to Lviv region at the beginning of August, where on her personal page in the banned social network “Vkontakte” she spread information in which she denied the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine and praised the actions of the occupiers on the territory of Ukraine.
The suspect also spoke out in support of the aggressor country, glorifying the “achievements” of the Russian government and spreading calls to end the existence of Ukraine.
Currently, she has been remanded in custody.
The pre-trial investigation is carried out by the SBU Department in the Lviv region.
Note: in accordance with Art. 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is considered innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until his guilt is proven in a legal manner and established by a court verdict.
