A 57-year-old resident of Ternopil region, who came to Lviv region on business, left a purse with documents and money on a park bench.
Detective of the criminal police of department No. 1 of the Zolochiv district police department, police captain Ruslan Pankiv, while passing through the city park, saw a barrette. The law enforcement officer asked the people around if anyone had seen the owner – it turned out that the purse was left by a man who left in an unknown direction.
After studying the documents and business cards that were in the wallet, the policeman established the identity of the man, a 57-year-old resident of the Ternopil region. There was also money in the amount of 15 thousand euros in the purse.
Meanwhile, the owner of the barset, discovering its disappearance, came to the police to report it. And he was pleasantly surprised when a policeman was already waiting for him, who returned the lost item to him.
The man thanked the employees of the police department for their help and promptness.
