A traffic accident occurred on December 29 at 8:50 PM on Chervonoi Kalyny Avenue in Lviv.
Incident Details
Preliminary police reports indicate that an 18-year-old Lviv resident driving a Renault Megane struck two pedestrians:
- A 29-year-old woman;
- A 37-year-old man.
As a result of the accident, the man sustained injuries and was hospitalized.
Investigation
Police have opened a criminal case under Article 286, Part 1, of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – violation of traffic safety rules.
Possible Penalties
- Up to three years of restricted freedom.
- Revocation of the right to drive vehicles for up to three years.
