The girl who suddenly ran out onto the road near Pivdennyi Market and was hit by bus #51 was not hospitalized as she did not suffer any injuries. She was examined by doctors on the spot and released home.
According to the Lviv City Council’s transport department, the child’s parents were at the scene and have no complaints against the bus driver. Representatives of the patrol police drew up a report on the incident.
“The girl, about 12 years old, suddenly ran out onto the road, and the bus #51 hit her. However, the child did not suffer any injuries. Doctors examined her and let her go home. The parents were also present at the scene, and they have no complaints against the driver.
Therefore, we ask parents to pay attention to their children to observe traffic rules, because with such actions as happened today – suddenly running out on the road – children endanger themselves and other people,” the Lviv City Council’s transport department emphasizes.
